It has been 6 months since we moved into our new office and ambulatory surgery center (Southpoint Surgery Center) located in the Vista South Building at 7051 Southpoint Parkway, directly across from St. Luke’s Hospital.  We hope you have had an opportunity to visit these beautiful new facilities as a patient or guest.  If not, you are welcome any time to come by for a personal tour.  Our new office is located on the 3^rd floor of the Vista South Building and the surgery center (SSC) is on the first floor. 

Our general examination and medical patients now have a centrally located, state-of-the-art eye care facility for all of their appointments.  And our surgery patients enjoy the special convenience and more so, the latest surgical technologies in the most contemporary and comfortable ambulatory surgery center in all of Northeast Florida.

  Nicolitz Eye Consultants continues to maintain offices in the San Marco area (on Flagler Avenue) for the convenience to patients in central Jacksonville area as well.  If your care should require eye surgery, it will be provided at the Southpoint Surgery Center in the Vista Building on Southpoint Parkway.

Our new combined office and ambulatory surgical facility now allows us to offer “same-day-surgery,” a unique service popular in large cities where practices with our level of facilities are more common.  “Same-day-surgery” provides considerably more convenience to the patient while maintaining the same high level of safety and care provided to patients taking 2 and 3 pre-operative visits before their surgical procedure.  If you are interested in such a service you can contact us or your primary care physician or optometrist can help you schedule your “same-day-surgery” appointment. 

Finally, along with our facility expansion we have also expanded our professional and support staff and can now see patients on a “same-day or within 24 hour appointment” for routine, urgent of emergent care.  All you need to do is call our office (904 398-2720) and ask for a “same-day-appointment.”  All of our doctors, technicians and staff will look forward to providing you with the most courteous, efficient and highest quality eye care that you deserve.
